The Education and Mentorship Committee of the Infectious Diseases Society of Ohio is committed to advancing the knowledge, skills, and professional development of current and future infectious disease practitioners in Ohio. Our mission is to foster a dynamic learning environment through innovative educational programs and meaningful mentorship opportunities that support the growth of our members across all career stages.
Objectives

Statewide Case Conference: Develop and host a monthly forum for infectious disease professionals to discuss complex cases and share expertise.

Spring Meeting Program: Plan and execute a comprehensive educational program for the IDSO Spring Meeting, featuring cutting-edge topics and expert speakers.

Mentorship Program: Identify and connect mentors with medical students and Internal Medicine residents interested in infectious diseases to provide guidance and career support.

Educational Resources: Develop and share high-quality materials and tools to support learning and professional development across the infectious disease community.
